Ask anyone who knows about this world famous car and they will eagerly tell you about its rich sporting heritage. There are few cars in the world that can compete with the illustrious history of racing that the Aston Martin has. It takes something special to have been associated with sports cars for over 90 years, but this is exactly what Aston Martin cars have been able to achieve for they have been producing sports cars for the past 90 years.

The company was founded in 1914 when its two founders Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin found out about their desire to build superior grade sports cars. They wanted to build distinctive sports cars that were both exciting to drive and also had great looks. Martin used to compete in races that required climbing hills at Aston Ciinton.

These two things together, the name of the location where the race was held along with the name of the driver gave Aston Martin its name. So many years have passes since the first Aston Martin was released but till date it is one of the few cars that is still loved by lovers of car racing.
